Synopsis[]
American Crime Story: The People v. O. J. Simpson is a look at the Simpson trial told from the perspective of the lawyers. It explores the chaotic behind-the-scenes dealings and maneuvering on both sides of the court, and how a combination of prosecution confidence, defense wiliness, and the LAPD’s history with the city’s black community, gave a jury what it needed: reasonable doubt.

Titlecard[]
The introductory title-card of each episode does not actually use the promotional logo as its text. In difference, it keeps a uniform Norwester typeface, saying "THE PEOPLE V. OJ SIMPSON", a separating horizontal line, with "AMERICAN CRIME STORY" below.
This is shared a common attribute with the title-card of The Assassination of Gianni Versace, which also does not display the promotional logo.
